In 2017, the celebration of this World Tourism Day focuses on how sustainable tourism can contribute to development.
Sustainable tourism is defined as tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities. Well-designed and well-managed tourism can make a significant
contribution to the three dimensions of sustainable development —economic, social and environmental—, has close linkages to other sectors and can create decent jobs and generate trade opportunities.
There are many things that we could do in Cabo to promote sustainable activities that help this beautiful destination maintaining its natural attractiveness. Support eco-friendly activities that permit our visitants to delight in the exquisite nature of Cabo while nature is being cared, as well as educate all the new citizens about the native culture and history.
Casa Dorada Team is having the Sustainable week with some activities that have as a goal to promote the destination and culture among its own collaborators, lots of them also starting to know the beauty of Los Cabos.
If you want to know what we are doing to help the environment and how can you participate, please don’t hesitate to ask us. We will be happy to help!
